Version 0.14[]

Patch Nickname: "A Thorough Sweep and Polish"

Patch release date: ongoing

Broken Frontiers campaign status: ---

Developer's Note: This patch doesn't fundamentally change anything major about Vennt. Instead, it's a clean-up patch, including a full sweep through the entire wiki to remove deprecated materials and ensure that everything is consistent and compatible, with some additional focus on organizing Vennt's content by Courses. Hopefully, this patch is a big step toward a 1.0 version of Vennt which is solid and flexible enough to be expanded on.

Version 0.13.7[]

Patch Nickname: "Import Rules"

Patch release date: March 30, 2022

Broken Frontiers campaign status: end of Season 7

Developer's Note: This patch introduces several official definitions for properties that are mostly consistent but never explicitly described in the system, like buffing and attack modifiers. Although I introduce these definitions, it will be a significant overhaul to update this everywhere on the wiki. For all of my players, I am asking your help: when you see an ability that does not use the new language, please update it to use the new keywords with a link to their wiki entry. My hope is that this clarifies the system and provides more consistency for how ability interactions resolve.

Notes Prior to 0.13.1[]

Earlier versions of Vennt had patch notes in Google Docs or on Discord, giving them limited detail here. During the transition onto the wiki from 0.12 to 0.13, limited changes were documented.

Version 0.13

Began introducing Courses and organizing Paths and requirements based on them.

Version 0.12.3

Tinker Designs no longer have a Build Time. Instead, they are craftable during Rests.

Version 0.12.2

Attacks no longer reduce Vim. Movement is now in hexes.

Version 0.12.1

Replaced VP and Defense with Vim. Replaced attack rolls with Accuracy.

Version 0.12.0

This wiki was created. Patch notes for versions earlier than 0.12 exist on their original rulebook documents.
